Welcome to Curious Paws Club
Hello, my name is Ruth and I am the proud founder of Curious Paws Club. My goal is to deliver expert, individualised, and enrichment-based pet care to families across Crawley and the surrounding areas.
My Journey & Experience
For over 6 years, I successfully ran my first professional pet care business, Walkies with Ruth. After taking time away to deepen my expertise in management and large-scale dog daycare operations, I am thrilled to return to independent hands-on care with Curious Paws Club.
Qualifications & Ethos
I graduated with a Degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare from Hartpury College (UWE). Additionally, I am a certified Dog Trainer and hold up-to-date certification in Canine First Aid.
I believe that every walk and home stay should be rich in mental stimulation and tailored to each dog's personality. Whether exploring secure walking fields or relaxing in a warm home environment during boarding, your dog's safety and happiness are always my absolute priorities.

Meet Nesta
She was adopted by me at 4 years old in 2021. For 5 years she enjoyed holidays in the Lake District, rolling round with Spaniels, and really really enjoys her food!
She is a cross between a Rottweiler, Labrador, and German Shepherd, with probably a few other things mixed in there too. She has a very big bark, but is super friendly and loves attention.
For 5 years we enjoyed holidays in the Lake District, rolling around with Spaniels, and enjoying lots of adventures. She has a very big bark, but she is super friendly and absolutely loves attention (and really, really enjoys her food!).
Her Journey & Resilience
In February 2025, Nesta suffered a nasty fracture in her right front leg. After going through multiple surgeries to try and fix the leg with pins and metalwork, sadly, her leg had to be amputated in August of the same year, along with many other complications.
However, she has shown such incredible resilience. Whilst she may not be back out walking with us, she enjoys relaxing in her garden, chasing the odd squirrel away, and lots and lots of napping.
